We believe that God through his word provides the way and path needed to bring about lifelong change—from the heart. Biblical counseling is practical and sound. It helps the counselee to see problems through Scripture and put God’s word into action (James 1:22, 25). Counselee’s are taught to respond to problems from Biblical principles and not through the philosophies of man (Col 2:8). Fees Initial visit is 1 1/2 hours long and the cost is $65.00. Follow-up visits are 1 hour long and are on a donation basis. We do not turn anyone away due to finances. We are a 501C 3 Non-Profit ministry governed by a Board of Directors, not a private practice. We depend on donations from churches and individuals as well as donations by people who have been helped by FBCTC in the past. What days do you counsel? Counseling is available on Monday and Thursday evenings by appointment only. If a counselor is not immediately available, there may be a waiting period. How long are counseling sessions? Counseling sessions are approximately 1 to 1.5 hours each week for approximately 6-12 weeks more or less depending on your progress. Are sessions confidential? Yes, everything is strictly confidential except where state law requires the counselor to report an incident and if there is a biblical requirement to involve others (Matt 18:15-17).
